
Bishop Dr. Kenwin Hunte Sr.
Bishop Kenwin Hunte was born to Mable and Raymond Hunte in the islands of Trinidad and Tobago. At the age of 14, he began preaching the gospel. He has been constantly involved in ministry and worked closely with his pastor at his local church. This served as the foundation that would later propel his faith and leadership abilities.
Bishop Hunte attended the New Testament Church of God Bible Institute in Trinidad and Tobago, where he earned a diploma in ministerial studies and then went on to the School of Pastoring and Preaching. He is a Certified Evangelism Explosion Teacher Trainer who has taught hundreds of believers how to communicate their faith. He is also a certified John Maxwell trainer. He is presently training and teaching leadership skills to those called into ministry. He has obtained several certificates in Ministerial Studies (CIMS) from the School of Ministry in Cleveland, Tennessee. Bishop Hunte earned his first rank as a licensed minister with the Church of God at the age of 23 and was ordained as a Bishop by the Church of God in June 2001. He also served as the evangelism director for one of the largest Church of God in Trinidad & Tobago.
Bishop Hunte and his family migrated to the United States. He planted the International Harvest Church of God in Orlando, FL, in 2006. This church is currently running with a membership of about 200 members and more, up from its original seven members. He was also appointed by the Church of God’s Tampa Office in 2020 to be the head of “A Pastoral Covenant Group”. In 2022, Bishop Hunte was awarded the degree of “Doctor of Divinity” from the Covenant Bible College and Seminary.
Bishop Hunte is married to Rev. Suzanne Hunte, an ordained minister with the Church of God. He is the father of Kenwin Jr., Sarah, and Stephanie, and the father-in-law of Andrese Hunte, and proud grandfather of Haven, Liam, and Aaliyah.
Bishop Hunte's greatest vocation is to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ, lead sinners to repentance and mentor young men who are called to ministry. He is fully committed to preaching, teaching, and defending God's Word. His desire is to spread the gospel and bring as many souls to heaven as possible before time turns into eternity. He has a profound love for God's people and would not hesitate to help others. He exudes a contagious and charismatic spirit that pervades every aspect of his character and ministry.

Reverend Suzanne Hunte's journey is one defined by unwavering dedication to ministry and profound leadership. Born in Trinidad, her life's path has been marked by a steadfast commitment to serving alongside her husband for over three decades. Their joint ministry has seen them assume pivotal roles as Evangelism Directors and associate pastors within one of Trinidad's largest churches, where their impact was deeply felt.

Her pursuit of spiritual knowledge led her to the Church of God Bible Institute in Trinidad, where she immersed herself in theological studies for three years, culminating in the attainment of a Ministerial Diploma. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for her subsequent roles within the church, where she served with distinction as both an administrator for the institute and later as the administrative assistant to the General Overseer of the Church of God in Trinidad, Tobago, and Grenada. Her ordination as a minister with the Church Of God reflects her enduring commitment to her faith and ministry.
Upon immigrating to the United States, Reverend Suzanne Hunte embraced new opportunities to contribute to the spiritual community. Her tenure as Administrative Assistant to a Church of God and Director of a Christian Daycare underscore her multifaceted talents and unwavering dedication to service. With over fifteen years of experience in business management, she brings a unique blend of administrative acumen and spiritual insight to her endeavors.

Married to Bishop Kenwin Hunte, Reverend Suzanne is not only a devoted wife but also a loving mother to three wonderful children: Kenwin Jr., Sarah, and Stephanie. Her role as a grandmother to Haven, Liam, and Aliyah brings her immense joy and fulfillment, further enriching her life with love and purpose.
