Bishop Dr. Kenwin Hunte Sr.

Bishop Kenwin Hunte's journey is one of unwavering faith and dedication to spreading the gospel. Born to Mable and Raymond Hunte in the islands of Trinidad and Tobago, his calling to ministry ignited at the tender age of 14. From that moment, he embarked on a lifelong mission to serve God and lead others to Him.

His formative years were shaped by close collaboration with his local church pastor, laying a sturdy foundation for his faith and leadership skills. Bishop Hunte's pursuit of theological education led him to the New Testament Church of God Bible Institute in Trinidad and Tobago, where he obtained certifications in ministerial studies. He pursued studies at the School of Pastoring and Preaching, earning certifications and is a Certified Evangelism Explosion Teacher Trainer and presently a Certified John Maxwell teacher, coach, trainer.

Bishop Hunte's commitment has always been to excellence in ministry and has obtained several certificates in Ministerial Studies from the School of Ministry in Cleveland, Tennessee. His dedication and passion for spreading the gospel earned him his first rank as a licensed minister with the Church of God at a remarkably young age of 21. Eventually, in June 2001, he became an ordained Bishop by the Church of God.

In 2006, he planted the International Harvest Church of God in Orlando, Florida. What started with a humble congregation of seven members has blossomed into a vibrant community of over 200 faithful followers. Recognized for his leadership and influence, he was appointed by the Church of God's Tampa Office in 2020 to head "The District Pastoral Covenant Group."

In acknowledgment of his scholarly and spiritual contributions, Bishop Hunte was conferred with the esteemed title of "Doctor of Divinity" by the Covenant Bible College and Seminary in 2022. Complementing his ministerial journey is his partnership with Rev. Suzanne Hunte, also an ordained minister with the Church of God, and their beautiful family, including children Kenwin Jr., Sarah, and Stephanie, as well as daughter-in-law Andrese Hunte and grandchildren Haven, Liam, and Aaliyah.

At the core of Bishop Hunte's calling is his fervent desire to spread the message of Jesus Christ, lead sinners to repentance, and mentor the next generation of ministers. His commitment to preaching, teaching, and defending God's Word is unwavering, fueled by a deep love for God's people and an unyielding dedication to their spiritual growth. With a contagious and charismatic spirit, Bishop Hunte's ministry transcends boundaries, touching lives and transforming communities wherever he goes.

Pastor Suzanne Hunte

Reverend Suzanne Hunte's journey is one defined by unwavering dedication to ministry and profound leadership. Born in Trinidad, her life's path has been marked by a steadfast commitment to serving alongside her husband for over three decades. Their joint ministry has seen them assume pivotal roles as Evangelism Directors and associate pastors within one of Trinidad's largest churches, where their impact was deeply felt.

​

Her pursuit of spiritual knowledge led her to the Church of God Bible Institute in Trinidad, where she immersed herself in theological studies for three years, culminating in the attainment of a Ministerial Diploma. This academic foundation laid the groundwork for her subsequent roles within the church, where she served with distinction as both an administrator for the institute and later as the administrative assistant to the General Overseer of the Church of God in Trinidad, Tobago, and Grenada. Her ordination as a minister with the Church Of God reflects her enduring commitment to her faith and ministry.

 

Upon immigrating to the United States, Reverend Suzanne Hunte embraced new opportunities to contribute to the spiritual community. Her tenure as Administrative Assistant to a Church of God and Director of a Christian Daycare underscore her multifaceted talents and unwavering dedication to service. With over fifteen years of experience in business management, she brings a unique blend of administrative acumen and spiritual insight to her endeavors.

Married to Bishop Kenwin Hunte, Reverend Suzanne is not only a devoted wife but also a loving mother to three wonderful children: Kenwin Jr., Sarah, and Stephanie. Her role as a grandmother to Haven, Liam, and Aliyah brings her immense joy and fulfillment, further enriching her life with love and purpose.

Together with her husband, Reverend Suzanne Hunte stands as a beacon of inspiration and leadership, founding pastors of the esteemed International Harvest Church of God in Orlando, Florida. Their shared commitment to cultivating leaders, exemplified by their roles as John Maxwell teacher trainers, underscores their dedication to empowering others and fostering growth within their community.

Yet, amidst her many achievements and responsibilities, Reverend Suzanne's greatest passion remains her unwavering devotion to supporting her husband and serving as a vessel of honor to the Lord. Her life is a testament to the transformative power of faith, resilience, and love—a legacy that continues to inspire all who know her.
